What we were brought in to solve
Trendora's previous storefront — a stock Shopify theme overloaded with apps — was crawling on mobile, leaking conversion at every step, and impossible to localise for 30+ EU markets without copy-pasting whole sections. Marketing wanted to launch campaigns weekly; engineering needed a week to ship a CMS change.
How we built it
We migrated Trendora to a Shopify Hydrogen-backed headless storefront on Next.js, with Sanity as the merchandising CMS and Algolia powering search and recommendations. Edge rendering plus aggressive image optimisation pulled LCP under one second on 4G in every target market.
A locale-aware checkout, multi-currency pricing and tax integration via Avalara unlocked clean roll-out across 30+ markets. Marketing now ships hero campaigns, navigation changes and PDP layouts the same day they brief them — without an engineering ticket.
