The challenge

What we were brought in to solve

Arclight's 50,000+ industrial sensors across pumping stations, substations and processing plants were sending data into siloed dashboards — each tool covering only a slice. Operators couldn't triage incidents in one place, and engineering changes meant a 6-week vendor cycle for every dashboard tweak.

The solution

How we built it

We built a unified telemetry platform on AWS IoT Core. Devices push MQTT telemetry to a Kinesis-fed pipeline, normalised events land in TimescaleDB, and a Next.js operator console surfaces real-time dashboards, alarms and acknowledgment workflows.

A rules engine raises anomalies on the fly and routes alerts to the right on-call group. OTA firmware updates ship via a phased rollout system with automatic rollback if error rates spike on a fleet.
